Why this combo

The L Brackets bolt to your platform and give the quick release awning brackets a solid base, so the awning clicks on and off in seconds without touching a spanner. The tie down points bolt straight into the platform channel and give you four fixed anchors for straps, so recovery boards, swags and boxes stay put at highway speed.

WARRANTY

What's covered:

Brackets (metal components): 5 year warranty against structural defects or failure under normal use.
Pins and fasteners: 12 month warranty.
Powder coating: not covered due to normal wear and exposure.

What voids the warranty: misuse, abuse or incorrect installation; any modification including welding or retrofitting parts; failure caused by third party components (tent rails, bolts, awning side rails) that are not compatible or structurally adequate.

Installation and usage: verify your rooftop tent or platform is rated for the combined load of brackets and awning. Always use guy ropes and poles when the awning is deployed, even if it is marketed as freestanding. Use only the correct bolts or channel nuts for your awning's mounting system.

Our brackets are load rated to 50kg per bracket, but your setup is only as strong as its weakest link.

Two brackets suit most awnings up to 2.5m. A third bracket adds an extra point of support for downward and upward loads, and we recommend it for the heaviest 270 degree awnings, long corrugated roads and serious off road use. Every supporting bracket in the bundle matches your configuration.

Are they compatible with my awning?

As long as your awning has a backing plate with two horizontal T slot channels, the brackets will work. They are engineered for the heaviest 180 and 270 degree awnings, including Outback, The Bush Company, Kings and Bushwakka.

Do I need push pins?
