WE REBUILT THE PLATFORM BRACKET FROM SCRATCH

Our original platform mount did the job. RAXXLOK is what happens when you spend months asking how it could do the job better. Lower. Stronger. Locked, not just pinned.

Every part of the bracket was redrawn. The result is a full stainless steel mount, reinforced everywhere it takes load, with a CNC machined tapered lock at its heart. Patent pending, and nothing like it on the market.

Integrated stainless indexing pinBuilt into the bracket, not a loose part. The awning locates itself on the pin as it drops on, so there is nothing to line up and nothing to drop in the dirt.

RAXXLOK is the platform mount Quick Release Awning Bracket rebuilt from the ground up. We spent months redesigning our original platform bracket into this: a fully reinforced, full stainless steel mount that sits just 45mm high once the awning comes off. Patent pending.

Quick release, taken to the next level

  • CNC machined tapered locking mechanism. The awning drops on and pulls tight into the taper. No slop, no guesswork.
  • Integrated stainless steel indexing pin. Built into the bracket, so the awning locates itself every time and there is no loose pin to drop in the dirt.
  • Anti rattle, anti tamper bolt. One bolt locks the whole thing in place. Silent on corrugations, and the awning stays with the vehicle when you walk away.

Take the awning off for the work week and the brackets all but disappear. With only 45mm of height left on the rack you get maximum clearance for underground car parks, garages and shopping centres, then the awning goes back on in seconds for the weekend.

If you own a roof rack, a canopy or a roof platform and want your 270 degree awning on and off quickly and easily, this is the mount. Bolts to your rack the same way the original platform bracket does.

WARRANTY

Brackets (metal components): 5 year warranty against structural defects or failure under normal use. Pins, bolts and fasteners: 12 month warranty. Powder coating: not covered due to normal wear and exposure.

The warranty is void if the brackets are misused, installed incorrectly or modified, or if failure is caused by third party components that are not compatible or structurally adequate. Verify your rack, canopy or platform is rated for the combined load of brackets and awning, always use guy ropes and poles when the awning is deployed, and use only the correct bolts or channel nuts for your awning's mounting system.

RAXXLOK bolts to roof racks, canopy racks and roof platforms the same way the original platform bracket does. Fasteners to attach the brackets to your rack are not included because every rack uses different channel nuts and bolts, source these from your rack manufacturer.

Are they compatible with my awning?

As long as your awning has a backing plate with two horizontal T slot channels, the brackets will work. They are designed for the heaviest 180 and 270 degree awnings.

Do I need two or three brackets?

Two brackets suit most awnings up to 2.5m. A third bracket adds an extra point of support for the heaviest 270 degree awnings, long corrugated roads and serious off road use.
